Potions Please!!

One day I decided to run up to Mt Hyjal and farm me some Embersilk cloth. I needed to make more dreamcloth and I was running out of the embersilk I needed to make them. Although Mt Hyjal had bad guys that are a lot weaker then I can handle, I kill them one after another and it takes a toll on my health. I needed some potions for my spellpower as well as my health. "LF Alch, have mats will tip" I posted in Orgrimmar. "translation: Looking for an Alchemist. I have the materials and I will tip) I got a response pretty quickly. A little Orc Shaman replied to my post. "I will be glad to help you, but I need to practice my Alchemy so you don't have to tip me". Well that was sweet of her. I met her in the Drag right outside of the Alchemy trainer building.
Alrightee, let's see what recipes you have that I will need. She showed me her potion book. Hmmm, I'm afraid your Alchemy isn't complete with what I need. "Aww, I'm sorry, I'm still learning this trade, are you sure there isn't anything I can make for you". No I'm sorry sweetie, maybe next time when you practice more. "awww alright" and we said bye and as I was walking away I looked back, she sat down outside the building with a disappointed look on her face. Damn my soft heart! She looked like she really wanted to practice more and get better at that so she can learn new recipes from her trainer. What could be stopping her? maybe the lack of gold to buy the herbs that she needed? Cripes, fine!.. I'm not an herbalist so I couldn't go and pick the herbs she needed, but I could buy them.
I made my way to the Auction House and tried to remember what herbs I saw in her book that she needed. Mageroyal, Stranglekelp, Briarthorn, Bruiseweed, Liferoot. that's about all I could remember. I went back to see if she was still there and sure enough she was. Concentrating hard on her book, I tapped her on her shoulder and I introduced myself she did the same. Her name was Hellgurl an Elemental Shaman. Alchemy and Inscription was her trades that she was currently working very hard on. I asked her to walk into the building with me and opened my bag and brought out the herbs. Her face lit up like a kid opening up presents under the Winter Veil tree. "Is this for me!?" she asked. Yup, now you can practice your alchemy and hurry up and learn the recipes I need you to make me, I'm kidding. We laughed. She was so thankful and it looks like a tear almost came out. I hung around and watched her mix her potions in the crystal vials. "Thank you so much Deadskully", no problem, I replied, just keep your eyes on what you're doing, those herbs weren't cheap you know. lol
I had no use for the potions she was making so I told her she can keep what she needed and try to sell the rest on the Auction House and keep what profit she makes from them. More and more I'm starting to think that my mission in this life was to help out other people. And it always starts out with gold. I'm not rich by any means, and I'm greedy to a point but I find myself helping out the ones that don't ask for it. It makes me feel better, and I'm dead so lord knows I need all the "feel better" moments I can get. haha

Deathknights... not so scary

I have tried for a long time to keep my distance from Deathknights. I just always perceived them to be scary and mean. I found out today that they're all not as bad as I had imagined.
I was running around in Grizzly Hills today and I ran into some Alliance in Venture Bay. The only reason I landed there was because Albie strained her wing so I needed to make an emergency landing. All of a sudden three Alliance jerks came up from behind us and started attacking. Zhargak was holding two of them back while I was trying to protect Albie from the third one. One of them got away from Zhargak and came running towards us. I had no weapons on me and my gear was all in my bag. I was completely not ready for this fight. Out of nowhere a Deathknight deathgrips one of the Alliance and killed him, then she took out the other one and by that time her deathgrip was ready to go again and she swiped the alliance away from Zhargak and finished him off just like the other two.
Oh my god, thank you so much! I told her. "It's no problem, I hate alliance scum" I offered her gold, but she kindly declined. "My name is Killmecow, nice to meet you"... "Well they certainly didn't kill you cow..." wow, that was lame /facepalm... I quickly introduced myself hoping she didn't hear that fail comment. "I never heard that one before"... and we both laughed.  "Lets get out of here before more of them stroll on over" she says.  "Meet me at Conquest Hold "  I bring out Violet for this flight. Albie needed a break. We both arrive at Conquest Hold and sit inside the big building on the stairs and talked for a good long while. We have lot of things in common. For instance, she mainly lives her day to day life trying to help people in need with tasks but the bulk of the gold she gets from doing them are given to the Orphanage in Thunderbluff.
She was abandoned by her parents and was taken in by Cairne Bloodhoof and was taught by Truak Runetotem to be a Druid. When she was younger Turak made somekind of deal with Highlord Darion Mograine to give him 5 souls to begin his army of Elites known as Deathknights.  When Killmecow got older, Darion came to collect. She had no choice and when told about the deal she gladly went without fight because she had felt betrayed by Turak, the person she looked up to like father.  How could the one person whom you trusted most in your life, sell you to the "devil" so to speak, and Killmecow vowed to never do that, and only fight if provoked and to defend the innocent. I'm not too sure what the details as to why the deal was made but I'm sure it was nothing shy of evil. She was taught to be a Frost DK and was taught by Amal'thazad. The only way she was able to leave was by becoming friends with Grimwing the Flight master on Ebon Hold. She went to him, asked/demanded a move and he let her go. Usually they need to get permission from their trainers allowing them to enter back into Azeroth, but Grimwing let her go. There were alot of Deathknights so one going AWOL would go unnoticed. She was able to go back in and train with Amal'thazad and no one said anything about it.
Killmecow looks scary, but she was not what I had expected in a DK. She was really nice and even offered to escort us if we needed to go somewhere. Mainly because she wasn't doing anything. All Zhargak and I were doing was flying around and fishing. Medelys and Christene were asking if I could make them some food with the buffs that they needed and I didn't have plans so I told them sure. And that's why I was in Northrend without any gear on. Just my weather beaten fishing hat and my jeweled fishing pole.
I'm glad I ran into Killmecow and I'm glad she was nice enough to help out a fellow Hordie. Let me tell you from past experiences, there are alot of jerks out there that would have turned the other way. There's something about this DK that makes me want to be her friend and know more about her. My perception of DK's up until this point were all negative. She proved me wrong and I'm glad to have eaten my words. The only other DK I know, not personally, is Bageezus' sidekick Hurtsdonut. All I know about him is that he likes to kill things and he doesn't like me because he says that I make Bageezus soft. Whatever!  Anywhos, so yeah I now have a new friend, Killmecow the Tauren Deathknight. I would not have imagined this in a hundred years.

Baby Spice on douchebags

Gosh!!! I hate it when buttfaces are mounted on huge drakes or mammoths and everyone is trying to see around them to a vendor or someone that is asking for our help. They are blocking them, just shy of standing directly on them and smashing them to death. They think it's funny because no one can see them no matter which direction they try to go around. Well jokes on them because when ever I see someone pulling that crap I throw some Baby Spice on them and it shrinks them down to where we all can see the person we're trying to talk to.
The only way to get some of the Baby Spice if from helping Cooking Trainer Awilo Lon'gomba in Dalaran with his daily tasks. I'm running low on Baby Spice because it seems that there are more and more jerks around lately that I have to shrink. I think I better start helping Awilo again. I haven't been to Dalaran in so long.
Sweet, Mustard Dogs! I love it when he needs me to do this task. I have to go around Dalaran and Collect 4 Wild Mustards in the grass, and make 4 Rhino Dogs and put them into a picnic basket that he provides for me and I bring it to Archmage Pentarus up on Krasus' Landing. Alrightee off I go. I gather the mustard I need from the grassy areas and then I went to my bank and got out 4 rhino meats. I Set up a fire and make my rhino dogs and put the neatly in the picnic basket for the Archmage. mount up and fly over to the Landing and give it to Pentarus.
"Oh thank you sweet girl, did Awilo send you? I was starting to get hungry, thank you so much, here is a small spice bag with some goodies in it." Thanks Archmage, and I left the Landing and went back into the Inn. sat down and opened my bag to see what I got. Woot! Baby Spice, just what I wanted! Got some Northern Spices for cooking and 2 Old Spices. The old Spices I also save for special occasions. But that, I use if I pass someone that smells terrible. The label on the container reads: The aged spices makes the target smell great. haha that's always funny. In the past when I've thrown it on people some tend to get offended and spew profanities at me but most are thankful, and they wave or smile at me. Um, I would like someone to tell me if I smelt terrible, wouldn't you? um yeah, that's right!
After I was done with that, I went back to Orgrimmar to see Marogg for his daily task for me to do and sure enough there it was again... a Douchebag standing right on him. I was polite at first and asked him to move, but he didn't even respond. Didn't even give me a "shut up little girl" or anything rude like that. Three other people were around trying to talk to Marogg, but couldn't. Ok fine, he asked for it. I reached in my bag and pulled out a handful of my baby spice and let him have it.

I watched as he got smaller and smaller until we all could see Marogg again. HAHA! and everyone cheered for me and laughed at Moocheeko the douchebag. Hopefully he learns to have some consideration the next time he wants to pull some crap like that again. I don't think getting shrunk on a daily basis is good for anyone.

Noggenfogger = Never again!

Now, I know I'm mostly bones and stuff but I'm never gonna try the Noggenfogger Elixir.... EVER!!!
I was bored one day so I decided to go to my bank and clean it out. I noticed I had a Noggenfogger elixir stuffed all the way in the back. So I grabbed that out and put it in my bag to sell to the vendor. Biznella, the Banker, saw me take out the elixir and told me "ohhh that's a fun drink, it makes you tiny" Tiny!? awesome! Alrightee, I know what I'm doing after I'm done here, drinkin' me some fogger.
I left the bank with a bag full of junk. Right outside the bank was Kiro, a vendor. So I sold her my useless junk and she saw the last thing in my bag... the elixir. "Hun, are you sure you don't want to sell that?... that can be dangerous if you're not ready for the effects"... "Lady, I'm a big girl, I think I can handle it" I know what it does, Biznella just told me. I've been turned small before. I guess it would be dangerous if I take it in a busy area and someone on their mount accidentally steps on me.

I'll go on the rock over here by the water. I pop the top off and drink the elixir. Awww man, I feel funny but I'm not getting smaller that's for sure. Well this was a rip. I got a dud. I turned around and as I was about to jump off the rock I looked down at my feel and it didn't look like my feel. I didn't have my boots on... it was just my feet but more boney then usual. I know I'm Undead, but am I dying all over again?!??!?! I lost my footing and fell into the water. I couldn't seem to swim while I just bones. I managed to get out of the water and back up onto the rocks. I was freakin' out at this point. Elixir effects usually wear off in a short time. I was just worried that this would be permanent.  I sat on a box near the Auction House and I couldn't keep it in any longer, I started to cry. I didn't know what to do.
I hopped down off the boxes and walked around. I saw a Priest in the distance, maybe he could help get me back to my normal self. Konfuuzd, the priest, said he couldn't help me, and laughed at me when I told him what I drank. With a name like Konfuuzd I really didn't know why I thought he could help me.
I went down to see Mirket my Warlock trainer and begged her to help me. I told her what I drank and that I was duped into taking it. She said that there was three different effects. It could have turned me small, slow my fall speed or turn me into a skeleton which it DID! I was NOT told that. But she reassured me that the effect should wear off in a little while. So I waited down with her. After a couple of minutes the effect did wear off and I turned back into my normal self. THANK GOODNESS!!!

Walking my Corehound Pup

Sarthy and I were flying around Sulfuron Spire in Mount Hyjal waiting for flame pools to spawn back up because I needed to get some volatile fires when I notice something out of the corner of my eye. We flew down closer to see what it was. OMG a puppy was on fire! As we were landing I noticed it wasn't on fire, it WAS the puppy! A little Corehound pup was wandering all by itself. I didn't get too close to it because the mother must be somewhere around here. I decided to leave it alone and get back to my flame pool scouting. 98 Volaile fires, not bad for an hour of bloody hot fishing and flying around. Sarthy is used to this kind of heat so she didn't have a problem with it, I on the other hand was dying, no pun intended.
As we were flying out of the Spire we flew past the ledge where I saw the Corehound pup and the poor thing was still there. OK something must have happened to the mother because she would have been back to get her pup by now I would think. We landed and I decided to take the pup with me. We got back to Orgrimmar and I set him down. He seemed really playful. This thing is a scary two-headed flaming rock baby dog thing. It's really cute tho. Just in case anyone wanted to steal it or it decided to be aggressive and bite someone I put him on a leash and took him for a walk.
I needed to go see Shazdar to buy another cooking recipe so we made our way there. Shazdar saw my pup and immediatly thought he was the cutest thing and asked so much questions about him. Alot of them I didn't know the answers to seeing as I just found him. The big question "what does he eat?" um I don't know. Maybe I should train him to be a vegetarian or something. That way he won't be tempted to bite my leg off and bury it or something. The attention we got from her was awesome, I'm gonna go show him off to more people. So we went to see Arugi my cooking trainer in the building behind Shazdar, and my Warlock trainer, Mirket,  down in The Cleft.
We went to walk to see sweet Marith Lazuriq, the Jewelcrafting trainer in the Valley of Honor. I'm not a jewelcrafter but that girl is such a sweetheart I wanted to show her my find.  As we were leaving Marith we got a little too close to the water and the little guy flipped out. He started to tug on the leash and I almost lost my grip. Alright little guy we won't go near here again. We went away from the water and I could tell he was still distraught so I took him into The Burning Anvil. There is molten steel running along the floor against the walls so maybe this will make him feel a little more at home. Sure enough it did. He got calm right away. OK so No water and Yes to Hot places. Errr, that's not gonna work for me. Either I take him back where I got him, or I suck it up and be a good owner and give him what he wants every so often. I can do it. I'll keep him.
As I was going back to The Wyvern's Tail Inn I ran into Christene. She saw my pup and asked me where I found him. I told her where and she said it looked like the one she ran into. She saw the pup and was playing with it until it's mother came. She had to book it out of there, the mother chased her for about a mile and it was near a lake that she did end up loosing sight of the mother, but saw smoke and steam rising from the edge of the lake as she looked back. It started to don on us that that might have been the mother of this little corehound pup and Christene killed it. By accident of course. She said this happened about three days ago so if this was the same one, then he was walking around without a mother for three whole days. Alright, that makes me feel better about keeping him.

Everything is better with bacon.

I went to see Arugi my cooking trainer in Orgrimmar and asked if she needed me to help her with anything. She told me that Marogg right outside the door needed some Swine bellies for a recipe he's making. Oh sweet I know where to get those. Right outside Org there's a pig farm and the pens are always full of piggies. So I went to talk to him and he was so thrilled that I offered to help him with that. I asked him how much he needed and he told me about 6 bellies. Alrightee off I went to kill me some pigs.
Violet and I flew to the pens. Oh yeah, there's more then enough right here. We landed and I crept up from behind the pig farmer's building and looked inside, he wasn't anywhere in sight. Now's my chance. So I walked into the pen and I started to look around. There were babies along with their parents. Geez this was gonna make it that much more difficult for me.  Hmmm maybe not. Fel Flame on one, two and three piggies. Um ok, I guess swine bellies are too small on the babies, looks like I'm only killing the big mommies and the daddies.
So I got all the bellies I needed and when we were flying away I looked back at the babies walking around aimlessly, looking for their parents. Remorse sat in. Great. Maybe I should have gone back and killed the babies to put them out of their parentless misery. No no, that would have been too mean. I mean come on now, the farmer can take care of the little ones right? Well just to make myself feel better I'll keep thinking that way.
Went back to Marogg and gave him the bellies. He was so grateful so he gave me 9 gold and 40 silver and 2 cooking rewards. He said that he needs things to be done daily and if I come back to him everyday, he will give me a task and he'll pay for my services and give me rewards that I can use to purchase new recipes from Shazdar right next to him. Sweet! I needed a couple more rewards to purchase my first recipe so you can bet I'll be coming by to help this dude everyday. I just hope he doesn't need Swine Bellies everyday. /tear

Medelys has a sister!?!?!?!

As long as I've known Medelys I haven't heard her mention her sister once. So one day we were wandering around Silvermoon City. Medelys needed to get back to Dalaran so she had sent a message around town: "LF mage port to dal. tipping 50g" translation: "Looking for a mage to port to Dalaran. tipping 50 gold". Right after she finished posting, several mages came swarming to her. I didn't really need a portal because I kept my Kirin Tor ring to port me to Dalaran whenever I needed to but I figured I'd go and tag along. Then from the back of the crowd of mages someone says "I'll port you there for free!" of course anyone will take that offer. Knowing they're not gonna give a free port, the rest of the crowd dissipates and the girl walks forward. Medelys says under her breath, "no frackin' way". I asked her what was wrong and then I look at the girl and she looks just like Medelys just a little more girly and with longer hair. She walks up to the girl and they talk for a little bit then they walk over to me and Medelys introduces us. "Skully, this is my sister Christene. Christene, this is my best friend Deadskully". "Ohhhh, I didn't know you had a sister" after I said that out loud that didn't sound very good. I didn't know my best friend had a sister? /facepalm. "Oh it's ok, I don't tell people I have a sister either"... awkward. "Alrightee then, I'll leave you two to do some catching up." Then they both say at the same time "oh no, you don't have to go"... sounds like they didn't really wanna reminisce about old times or see what eachothers have been up to. eh, oh well. Maybe I should try and get the both of them to talk more. We'll see what happens. "Hey so are we gonna get that free port?" Medelys asks. "no, I just wanted to watch them all leave"... "WHAT?... are you kidding me?!?!?!... Now I have to go post all over again!?!?" "For cripes sake, calm down I was just kidding, looks like your temper hasn't changed one bit. still got a short fuse huh." Medelys just looked at her sister with the meanest green eyes ever. I had to cut the tension. "Thank you so much for the port, let me give you that 50gold tip".. "no no I said I'd do it for free, it's no problem" Christene puts up the portal for us and the 3 of us go through. Great I forgot to bring a bigger cloak. Northrend is cold as balls. And yes, just because I'm mostly bones and decaying flesh, I still get cold.
Christene is a nice girl, from what I've seen so far, she's a lot more laid back then Medelys, a calm, rational and level headed version. Whereas Medelys is more of a spitfire, rash, go go go kind of girl. Do what I want and I don't care what other people think attitude. The tomboy with pigtals, pants and a huge sword swinging, chops you in half and you'll like it, is what comes to mind when I think of my best friend. And then there's Christene the girly, always brushed long hair, dresses, and casting spells and magic with her wand. Don't get me wrong Christene is very nice, but I'm sure her looks are very deceiving compared to the damage she can dish out. I need to find out what happened between the two of them. It's gonna be on my mind until I find out so I figured I'd ask them. I'm sure they'll both tell me different stories if I asked them separately so I needed to ask them together.
It actually turned out to be quite civil and they did argue different sides too much.
Over the time I've known Medelys she's actually gotten a lot better at controlling her temper. Maybe it has a lot to do with Serogate. He's a very relaxed dude and maybe some of that is rubbing off on her.  Or maybe she's just getting older and more mature. Either way it's a good change. The 3 of us were walking around Dalaran for the most part in awkward silence so I popped the question right there. "Sooooo, what happened to the two of you that made you guys stop talking to eachother?"... they both stopped and looked at me with the "I can believe you just asked that" look on their faces. Medelys looks at Christene and asked her if she wanted to tell the story. Of course she says no. Medelys says she'll tell the abreviated version of it, and just to let me know, it wasn't anything huge and shocking.
About 6 or 7 years ago when they both were getting used to their abilities their parents split up and their dad took Medelys and the mom took Christene. Dad taught Medelys the ways of the Paladin and Christene was taught by their mother who was a Mage
So I went off to hang out with Marcia Chase fishing at the Dalaran Fountain to kill time while they were off "bonding", or so I hoped.  I missed Marcia. she was my last fishing trainer in Northrend. Taught me how to fish up the elusive Deepsea Monsterbelly. Everyday I was over here helping her with errands. Fished up about 50 coins by the time the two girls got back. Christene needed to meet someone down in Sholazar Basin so she needed to go. We said our goodbyes and a really good sign came in the form of a hug and plans to meet up tomorrow. Yay! they DID bond.
I was so eager to hear the whole story, but I didn't know how sensitive the subject was still for Medelys so I left it at that. I just asked Medelys, "in one word, yay or nay?"... she replied "meh"... That wasn't an option!!!   Grrrr!!!
