Love event adventures

I woke up this morning in the Roasted Ram Inn and looked out the window from the room upstairs I rented last night. What is all the commotion and heart shaped fireworks I see going off in the air outside?. Hearts everywhere! There was a calendar on the wall and I see why... Love is in the Air started.
Greaaaat... Why!!?!??! I've only gotten four hours of sleep, yeah you'd think because I'm Undead I don't need to sleep. Well this Undead does! Ugh, fine, I'll get this day started. I walked down to the fountain and ran into my friend Datruth.

"HEY TRUTH!" I yelled. "Skully! look at my new puppy!" she replied. "Whaaaat?!?! where did you get that? I want one now" I whined. "Trading Post in Orgrimmar you can buy one" she told me. Oh fricken sweet I thought. "Thanks!! I'ma go get it now!" 

I got on my Pink rocket and Truth said she'd come with me. "Aww sorry this doesn't have a friend seat." I had to tell her. "Oh it's ok, go get your puppy, but come find me later. I'll be around here, I have about 10 Tailoring orders people want me to complete by the end of the day" she said.
"Okies! I'll be back soon" and I was on my way.

I took the portal to Orgrimmar and mounted on my rocket. I'm not used to driving this thing and I accidently went the wrong way. I ended up going outside of Orgrimmar gates and just figured I'ma make a big U-turn back into the city. All of a sudden my rocket started to sputter... "oh crap!" what is going on. I looked at the gas meter and saw it was on 'E'

"No no no no no!!!!

My rocket started to take a nose dive towards the ground! Oh crap! I'm gonna die I thought then I remembered I had my emergency whelps on a string I was given the other day by a Dragonkin Therazal when I was petting stagbeetles by the Valdrakken fountain. He said to only use it in case of emergencies... Um, this seems like an emergency to me.
I'm going down to fast to try to soulstone myself and I really don't feel like dying today. I grabbed the pack and read it...
"Five Baby Whelps to the Rescue"
"Directions: Open top and hold on tight to box"

I panicked cuz I had no fricken idea how this was gonna work. But it's either do as it says or die... so I did what the box said.

I unbuckled the seatbelt, kicked myself away from the falling rocket and opened the pack. Five whelplings attached to a string attached to the box I opened came springing out flapping their little wings taking me slowly down to the ground... Holy Crap! it worked! I'm alive!

As I was making my way down I noticed a faire going on behind me. I guess I was so blinded by the thought of a painful death I didn't even notice this when I was on my rocket. Ohhh Friggen hearts, this is for the Love fest Holiday, great. 

I finally landed and undid all the string from the whelps and let them fly away. I really need to get more of those boxes. Literally a life saver. I saw where my rocket went, summoned Dags and we walked over to the area. A goblin and a dark iron dwarf were by my rocket. "Hey lil lass this be yours?" the dwarf asked me as I walked up... "yes it is, I..." I started to explain before the goblin cut me off.
"What is wrong with you! how could you crash this, do you not know how to keep exquisite goblin craftsmanship in top condition? Fuel! this is out of FUEL! Do you know how many people would kill for these Pink rockets goblins work so hard to build! for what? for you reckless young folk to just crash it like it was a siege demolisher!"

"Gazlowe, clam down, go easy on the lass" the dwarf cuts him off before he chewed my head off even more... I really think he noticed Dags was starting to get upset at the goblin. "Look lil lady, we can fix this for ya and get it workin in no time, Fuel it needs yes, but ya also crashed it into the ground, other things need ta be fixed so it might take us a good bit. The names Thaelin and this grumpy sod is Gazlowe"
"Thank you so much sir, Yes please can you fix it, I will pay of course. I really love this rocket and I will do my best in the future to keep it in the best condition" I told Thaelin

"I know ya will lass. Go enjoy the festivities and come back in a coupla hours"

"ok, thank you again" and dags and I walked towards the faire.

The first thing I saw when I walked into the faire was a pink Mana Ray. I need this so much! I thought and then looked around how I can get this. I saw a bunch of people gathered around a Blood Elf by the tent near by so I stood in line and waited my turn. Lythianne was a faire vendor and the right person to talk to about gettin me one of these.

She had soo much questions for me. I mean I get it, she wants to make sure it's going to a good home and not someone that's gonna abuse it by overworking it flying around farming for herbs and ore. Definetly NOT a mount you want to ride into battle I guess. To be fair, I don't go around herbing or mining sooo I was not lying when I told her I wasn't gonna do either of those things and stress this thing out. I was about to leave when something in her tent caught my eye. "What is that thing?" I asked. 

"This right here is a date simulation modifier. Let's say you go on a date but it's all rainy, gross right? well, set this down and you can choose from four different options to change the weather. I personally love the fireflies option. Who doesn't want lighted butt flies swarming around you while you're trying to enjoy your romantic night out."
I'm pretty sure she was being sarcastic, but I couldn't tell...
"What the hell, I'll take it! I have no boyfriend to take on a date, but I wanna play around with this" 

"Oh hun, great, take a look around the faire and I'll finish packing this up and getting your Mana ray ready for it's new owner" said Lythianne. "okies, see you in a bit!"

Dags and I walked over to a booth across the way that was selling boxes of candies. The vendor behind the counter, right when I walked up was really trying hard to sell me these chocolates. "you want ta buy dez candy box undead? ya buy four, I give you deal" says Zin'boja the candy vendor.  "oh I don't know, I don't think my friends like chocolates" I told her "move along if you no buy, otha people wanna be buying my chocolates ya know." she snapped. I turned around and didn't see anyone in line but I didn't argue, I said "mkay" and left. 

I figured my purchases would be ready by now and really didn't feel like walking around this place. Single person bitterness??? nah. As I was making my way back to Lythianne I was beginning to question my decision to buy that sky modifier thing. Is this thing even gonna work? did I just get ripped off? I need to ask her some stuff.

"Hey there, I'm here to pick up my mana ray and sky changing dohicky, but I have a question.. What if this thing doesn't work. You talked it up like its really cool, so good selling job there, but what if I use it and it doesn't work, or I find it is not super amazing, can I get my money back?" I asked
"Oh no worries, I have a 100% satisfaction guarantee return policy on all my items I sell. But just to put your mind at ease, I have never had anyone return a purchase. unless they were buying if for someone, but the person already had it." she replied
"Ohhh great! that's super good to know!"... she handed me my box and took me to my mana ray. I petted it first then climbed up. "Thank you Lythianne!"
"You're welcome warlock! enjoy them!" I waved and rode off towards Orgrimmar. I'm still a bit sketchy about this toy so I really need to use it myself. I went to the portal room and stood there for a minute trying to think of what place has a sky that never changes and always stays gloomy that I could use this thing to noticeably change the sky. I got it!!! Shadowmoon Valley! that place has a super depressing, end of the world looking sky. I ran down the stairs to the Shattrath portal and walked in. Mounted up on my new mount which I named Manny and off we flew to Shadowmoon valley.  

Went to the big mountain in the center of this place and dropped the thingy... Hmmm, I think I'll do a drastic change. Apocalypse sky! I turn you HAPPY!!! The green fell clouds started to dissolve revealing bright blue sky and fluffy white clouds. WHAT THE FFFFffff......?!?!?!?!?
This is AMAZING! I need to go other places to use this... think think think where else has crappy skies that needs to be turned sunny. I got it! Come on Dags! We're going to Netherstorm!

I didn't want to get Manny tired so I chose to take the flight master from Shadowmoon Village here to Area 52 in Netherstorm. We landed and I looked around, I'll just drop it right here by the flight master post. Peaceful day! LET'S GOOOOoooooo!!!!!!!! OMG! I love this thing!!!! I need to show my friends this! But wait, I need to see this thing in action somewhere that you can't see sky at all but it's all dark. I got it! Zaralek Caverns! One more place Dags, I promise!

My hearthstone was set to the Roasted Ram Inn so I hearthed there, and took the flight path down into the caverns. Went to find an open area. We landed on a rock pillar, I put the toy down and selected Peaceful day again, and sure enough the cavern lighted up so bright. I could see all through the cavern so far away. Geez, Dags! we need more people to see this. I need more people to HAVE this like yesterday! I dug in my bag and grabbed out my Wrap of Unity cloak, put it on, pressed the neck clasp to start my port back to Orgrimmar. 
Went back to Lythianne and bought 3 more of these things, I would have bought more but that was all the gold I had on me. I bought 3 to give to 3 of my friends that I know will NEVER come to this Love faire. Truth, Shify and Sawce. I know they'll get a kick out of it! "Thanks Lythianne! I yelled as I rode off. "You're welcome! I told you it was an amazing toy, Take Care!" she yelled back. 

Portal room and back to Valdrakken. Went straight to the bench to find Truth. "TRUTH! omg I have something to show you! you're gonna love it so much!, hang on tho, give me a sec" Took a bit for me to catch my breath as I ran straight from the Orgrimmar portal down the stairs to the benches.
"Skully what's going on? Do you need to drink something?" Truth asked concerned.
"Naw, I'm good, here, check this out!" I continued huffin and puffin, I set out the sky changing thing "OK, push the button and select one of the options that pops up on the screen" I explained. "hmm ok, I'll pick this one" Truth picked the rainstorm modifier I told her to watch the sky. The sunny sky turned gloomy and clouds rolled in and it started to rain. "SKULLY! WHAT JUST HAPPENED!?!?!? WHAT IS THIS THING!?!?!?"

I laughed and reached in my bag for my umbrella. "Here, get under. It's so cool right?, I have one for you too" and I continued to tell her all about how this thing works.
"Alright I'm done with this rain, lets change it back to pretty skies" I said. 
... and then I remembered why I went to Orgrimmar in the first place

Cripes! I didn't even get the puppy from the traders post... and then I remembered something else...
"Um Truth, you know those orders you were trying to complete today, did you finish any?"
"yeah, why?"
"Could I borrow some gold, I kinda crashed my rocket and a goblin is fixing it for me and I think he's gonna rip me off"
"hmmm naw, we don't need gold, I'll come and help with him." she said.
"TRUTH what are you doing?!?!?" I cover my eyes when I see Truth taking off her dress leaving her only in her bra and panties.
"What?, no way he's gonna charge you now... let's go get your rocket back!" she said

"oh my goodness"... classic Truth, finds any excuse to be running around half naked.

I miss writing

I stopped writing these a long time ago. I never stopped playing WoW or taking screenshots. I love doing both those things just as much as I did back then. I think it's easier to write when you live by yourself and you don't really play with other people in game. I had a lot of time by myself and my imagination kept me company. Sounds sad I know, but it was how I liked it. I live with family now and I play with other people in game so time to just stop and get my creative juices flowing kinda falls at the wayside. 

When I opened this blog the other day, I saw I have about 8 draft entries with screenshots attached to them and no writing. My motivation to get them done is there, however I think I'm a but hesitant to write because I don't think It will be as good as they were (at least I thought they were good anyways). Over the years I did go back and read them and I still enjoyed them. I enjoyed the adventures I took my toons on the screenshots I took to complete these stories. Can I come up with good stories again? I know there's only one way to find out.
